REAL LIFE NEWS: HOW NOT TO DRIVE AN EXPENSIVE CAR

by Hazed

Last Sunday an unknown driver trashed one of the most expensive cars in the world: an £830,000 Bugatti Veyron. There are only 300 of these cars in the world. He lost control while allegedly doing 100mp, in the pouring rain, on a 40mph stretch of road near Chertsey, Surrey (to the south-west of London) - the hand-built French motor hit another car before careering up a three foot bank and smashing into some trees.

What's worse, it wasn't even his own car! The Veyron is owned by a businessman who runs a car hire company, who had rented it to the driver for £20,000 a day.

An eyewitness told the Sun newspaper, "It was clearly an almightly bang. Bits of Bugatti were strewn all over the road. The front had been virtually ripped off, every panel was damaged and the front wheels were pointing in opposite directions."

Ouch! Maybe the driver had been playing too many driving simulation games.
