THE RETURN OF THE STAR

We’re back from our two weeks away from the hectic business of news publishing. The newsdroids are raring to go, itching to bring you the best stories. At least, I think that’s why they are scratching a lot – I hope they haven’t contracted some rare droid skin complaint!
Fortunately the real life news media has started reporting on stories that don’t just concern American politics, so I’ve been able to find plenty to write about for your delight and delectation.
One person who isn’t back, is Alan. As you know, the purpose of our break was because he is moving to a new flat. Well, the move has happened, but it all took longer than expected (don’t these things always?). Not only is he still surrounded by boxes needing to be unpacked, he only got his broadband turned on in the new place a few days ago.
So I have nothing more to report on the progress of ship fighting, and probably won’t for a couple more weeks.
There’s no Winding Down this week since he’s had no time to research any stories, and is too exhausted from shifting boxes to write anything! His tech news rundown will be back next week.
