DUMB PASSENGER OF THE WEEK: STOPPED IN AIRPORT FOR INAPPROPRIATE PHONE CASE

Last year – in fact almost exactly a year ago – I told you about a phone case shaped like a gun, and suggested it would be really, really stupid to actually use it in public.
Clearly, some people don’t read the Fed2 Star, because a man trying to get into Stansted Airport in the UK set off a security alert when it looked like he had a firearm in his back pocket.
Turns out the gun was an iPhone case shaped like a weapon. You can see pictures at the source link below.
The idiot could be charged with a public order offence or with carrying an imitation firearm in a public space, say Essex Police.
The moral, which I really shouldn’t have to state because it ought to be obvious to anyone with more than two brain cells to rub together: don’t carry things that look like guns when going through airport security!
