JUNO SENDS ITS FIRST JUPITER IMAGE FROM ORBIT
by Hazed
The Juno spacecraft, which took up its orbit around Jupiter last week, has sent back a picture showing a sunlit portion of the planet and three of its big moons: Io, Europa and Ganymede.
Right now the elliptical orbit is taking Juno away from the gas giant, but it will start to move back towards the planet in August, so we can expect to see even better images next month.
