DUMB CRIMINAL OF THE WEEK: CROOK PEPPER-SRAYS HIMSELF

A West Virginia man who tried to hold up a pharmacy was foiled by his own weapon, when he managed to pepper-spray himself.
Kevin Meads dressed up in camouflage gear, a “boonie hat” and a paintball mask, then tried to incapacitate the staff in the pharmacy by repeatedly blasting them with a pepper spray. But it all went wrong when he accidentally walked into one of his own peppery clouds. A classic case of being hoist by your own petard.
He staggered out of the pharmacy and into a car. Police identified the car’s driver and this lead them to Meadows. He has now been jailed for his self-sabotaged robbery attempt.
