MAP EDITOR UPDATE: THE END IS NIGH

I have in my possession a new version of the map editor, part of the Fed2 Workbench that lets you design your own planets. Alan has been working on a rewrite of the map editor for a while now, and we are almost at the point where it’s ready to be released. Almost... but not quite!
Alan has fixed all of the... erm... issues I had previous identified. When I finish beating the newsdroids to produce all the copy needed for this week’s Fed2 Star, I’ll run through that list of bugs and verify they have all been dealt with. Then I’ll check absolutely everything I can think of to make sure nothing that worked previously has got broken in the meantime.
Assuming I don’t find anything drastically wrong, then the editor will be released in the next couple of weeks. Complete with a brand new manual which I still have to write!
