GADGET OF THE WEEK: THE WALLET THAT RUNS AWAY

If you are prone to seeing something you like online and immediately reaching for your credit card to buy it, you may be interested in a new high-tech wallet. This little gadget will run away from you.
OK, maybe not run, but it is on tiny wheels and it’ll start inching away from you. If you grab it and pick it up anyway, it’ll scream. If you’re deaf to its cries, it’ll go one better: it’ll phone your mother.
All of this very creepy behaviour is controlled by a smartphone app which you can set to “Safe Mode” which means you shouldn’t be using your credit cards.
