Soldiers, police officers, security guards… there are many professions where people are in danger of being shot or stabbed. Kevlar vests give valuable protection, but they are bulky and not at all fashionable.
What is the smart business man, woman or thing who needs to venture into dangerous territory to do?
A Canadian tailoring house has come to the rescue. They’ve developed a bulletproof business suit. It’s made from cutting-edge carbon nanotube material that is lighter and safer than Kevlar. That makes it more comfortable and much more attractive, they claim.
The three-piece suit stops bullets and also protects against knife attacks, thanks to the hardening qualities of carbon nanotubes.
It’s only for the very wealthy, though, since each suit has to be individually tailored to the customer – and the price starts at $20,000.
