FIREWORKS OF THE WEEK: DIY BULLET-TIME
by Hazed
Remember how awesome bullet-time looked when you first saw in The Matrix? You’d think it would take a whole ton of expensive Hollywood studio-type equipment to achieve that kind of effect, where the camera zooms around a person in 3D and the bullets fly in slow motion.
But a very inventive chap called Jeremiah Watson has come up with a much simpler way to do it, using a slow motion camera and supplies costing about $75.
Check out this film showing 360 degrees of fireworks in slow motion. Then if you fancy having a go at this yourself, you can watch a video explaining how to achieve it.
