DUMB CRIMINAL OF THE WEEK: WHAT A DOPE

What this guy did was not all that unusual. But it resulted in him becoming the poster boy for dumb criminals, which is why he’s earned a place in this week’s Fed2 Star.
He stole a mobile phone on March 2. The phone belonged to a 27-year old woman. The criminal ran up to her in the Bronx, jumped her and ran off with her phone. She wasn’t hurt in the attack.
The criminal then took photos of himself using the stolen phone. Which turned out to be a really dumb move, because it was linked up to the owner’s Facebook account, and automatically posted the pictures to the social media site.
But what makes this so monumentally stupid is that the photos which were posted to Facebook show the perp smoking weed.
