NEW PLAYER BUG FIXED, NEWBODS WELCOME ONCE MORE

Good news everybody - Alan has finally nailed the new player bug. A new version of the code was put into the game at yesterday’s reset containing the fix and allowing newbods to set up accounts and characters again.
I’ll have a technical explanation of what the problem was and why it took so long to fix in next week’s Star, assuming I can get Alan to sit down and explain it in words a non-techy like me can understand.
Many thanks to those of you who helped us stress-test the new code by setting up lots of new characters in the test version of Fed. Well over 1,000 new characters were created since we put out the call for help on Tuesday. Never have so many groundhogs with such unpronounceable names been seen in Fed DataSpace!
