If you like techno-thrillers then may I recommend the latest book that my company has just released for the Kindle. Yes, I did the work for this one: proof-reading, editing, converting to the right format, and so on. Everything except write it!
So I am biased, but I really do think it’s a cracking read, and it should be of particular interest to those of you who - like me - remember the early days of computer networks.
The Hacker Chronicles Part 1: Kill -9 is set in the 1980s, long before the revolutionary advent of the Internet and World Wide Web. The ‘hacker hero’ Peter is an entrepreneurial nerd struggling to make a living from his new-fangled network.
The book follows Peter’s terrifying yet financially-lucrative descent into a dangerous world of real-life crime and ruthless 1980’s London gangsters.
Will making a fortune ultimately cost Peter his life?
