A short while ago I told you that chocolate was a good defender against high blood pressure. Now there’s more good news, as new research shows it could protect against stroke, too.
Scientists studied over 37,000 Swedish men over the course of a decade, and discovered that the ones who ate the most chocolate were the least likely to have a stroke.
The researchers think the beneficial effect of the chocolate may be due to the flavonoids. Whatever the reason, it’s great news for chocoholics like me!
