REAL LIFE NEWS: PHONES ARE NO LONGER FOR TALKING

What do you use your phone for? Sending text messages, probably. Browsing the web. Using Facebook. Lots of things... but what about actually making phone calls?
According to a new survey, that’s way down the list.
UK phone company O2 conducted a poll to find out what users are doing with their phones. The discovered that the most common activity is web browsing, with a daily usage time of 24.81 minutes. At number two is social networking, Facebook and Twitter and so on, with 17.49 minutes per day. Next is playing games, 14.44 minutes and listening to music, 15.64 minutes.
But phone calls? Just 12.13 minutes a day.
Hard to believe when you consider the people on my bus to work every morning who spend the whole journey talking on the phone...
