REAL LIFE NEWS: HOW TO GET CAUGHT

by Hazed

Yet another dumb criminal that gets convicted because he couldn't keep quiet about what he'd done. But this time, the villain didn't blab to his mates: he wrote in his diary.

How delightfully old-fashioned!

Jonathan Ochola claimed that while his friend was out robbing a book-makers, making away with hundreds of pounds, he was at home watching football on TV.

In fact, the 21-year-old Ochola was the getaway driver for Rashad Delawala and the pair split the takings after wielding an imitation firearm during the raid on the Ladbrooke's shop.

Jonathan's alibi fell apart when police checked his diary. On the date of the raid, an entry read simply: "Go Portsmouth. Robbery Happens".

Busted!

At least he didn't post it on Facebook. Or send out a tweet.

The pair have both been found guilty and are awaiting sentencing.
