by Hazed

For years, a group of neighbors in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire in England, were plagued by petty vandalism. Eventually, they decided to take action. In order to find the culprit they clubbed together to buy a CCTV system.

After installing it, they waiting for the evidence showing which of the local yobs were guilty.

Imagine their surprise when the culprit turned out to be not teenage hoodies, but a 63-year-old grandmother - co-ordinator of the Neighbourhood Watch, a regular churchgoer, and the widow of a police sergeant.

Jennifer Bibby was the person who was caught on camera splattering two cars with a mixture of flour and eggs. She was arrested and confronted with the evidence of her actions, and accepted a police caution for causing criminal damage. She's sent a letter of apology to her victims but hasn't been forgiven yet.

The reason for this unexpected vandalism was to do with a dispute about a piece of land that had split the area into two camps.
