REAL LIFE NEWS: POLICEMAN SCRATCHES NOSE WITH GUN - AND KILLS HIMSELF

We shouldn't laugh when somebody dies in a tragic accident, but sometimes the circumstances just mean you can't help giggling.

A Russian policeman had an itchy nose, so decided to scratch it with his gun... and he accidentally pulled the trigger and killed himself!

Well, that's the story that was reported, but it isn't quite as simple as that.

The tragedy happened in Moscow at the court security facility, according to a report in the Moskovsky Komsomolets. A supervisor tried to contact the cop over the phone but he didn't answer, so taking other officers with him, the supe went to the office. The door was locked and they had to break in, and they found their colleague's body behind the desk, with a wound in his head.

The investigation ruled out a murder, but also said that because there was no note indicating suicide then it must be an accident. He had been reportedly in good spirits on the day.

So they came up with the nose-scratching theory. Sounds very speculative to me!
