NEW SCHEDULE FOR PUTTING PLANETS INTO THE GAMEby HazedPutting a new planet into the game - whether it's a brand new star system to be linked in, or just replacements to existing files - is time-consuming and quite fiddly. There's a lot of scope for things to go wrong, and if Alan tries to do it in a hurry before he rushes out the door to catch the train to work, something probably will go wrong. So we're setting up a new schedule for putting in planets. Any files sent to ibgames will be linked into the game at weekends. This means that you need to get the files in the mail before lunchtime on Friday (eastern time) so that I can check them out and make sure they are OK - then Alan can work on them on Saturday. We're sorry that this means there will be a delay to you seeing your new files in the game, and we hope it's only temporary. Oh, and don't forget to include "Fed2" somewhere in the subject line when you send in the files, to avoid the fierce spam filters! |
