REAL LIFE NEWS: PHOTO GRASSES UP CRIMINAL

by Hazed

This brings a whole new meaning to photo shopping... a Philadelphia teen criminal was recently collared by police after he used a stolen phone to take his own picture.

The phone and other items were stolen from a 20-year-old women who was held at gunpoint. The criminal later used the phone to snap himself holding a large handgun to his head. He must have thought it looked cool. What he didn't know was that the phone had been programmed to send pictures to its owner's home computer automatically. When the woman got the pic, she turned it over to police, and they passed it onto the media.

After seeing his self-portrait splashed across numerous television and newspaper reports, the mugger turned himself into police, and was revealed as 18-year-old Kadeem Cook.

"We really appreciate him taking a picture of himself," a police spokesman said. Too right - if only all crimes were that easy to solve!

Here's one of the news reports that showed the picture in question.
