WHAT CARTEL WAS THAT?

If you want to visit a planet you need to know what system the planet is in - but you also need to know the cartel, so you can figure out the route for your hyperspace jumps. Now, to help you with your route planning, the planet display will tell you what cartel the planet is in:

Economy: Resource Workforce: 800/800
Shipyard markup: 0% Merchant Fleet: 0 ships
Disaffection rating: 60%
This saves you having to look at the planet to find out the system, then look at the system to find out the cartel. So you'll save wear and tear on your keyboard, and strain on your fingers (or equivalent typing digits).
Although why you would want to go to a planet with 60% disaffection is beyond me...
