EVENT TESTING IS PROCEEDINGby HazedAt risk of boring you all with tales of things that you can't do yet, here's a report of the progress being made in testing the event editor. There are six people on the planet team, half of them are staff and half are players. They've had the new event editor for a week now and are making progress with learning how events work. First off the blocks with some actual events to test was Smitty. His events were put into the test version of Fed so he could see whether they worked as he expected, and now they have been linked into the live version of the game. You can visit his planet Numazia in the Pacifica system and see his handiwork. Ask him to show you around! The other testers aren't far behind and should have some work to show soon. Not that I want to give any definite dates, but I hope we will be able to release the event editor to players within the next ten days or so. Watch this space for details! |
