REAL LIFE NEWS: SHE DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING!

by Hazed

Stories where so-called psychics steal money from their clients using a variety of conman and fraudster tricks are depressingly common - it seems gullible people will hand over large sums of money if they can be convinced there's some supernatural reason to do so.

But here's a story where the tables were turned: an internationally known psychic was swindled out of $200,000 or thereabouts by her bookkeeper. You'd think the spirits would have warned her!

Denise Hall of East Arlington has agreed to plead guilty to wire fraud and filing a false tax return, after investigators discovered she stole money from medium Rosemary Altea. She used four credit cards to obtain cash advances, forged checks, and gave herself unauthorized electronic paychecks under Altea's name... and the fraud took place over a period of seven years.

That's seven years in which the medium failed to receive messages from the other side warning her she was being bilked!

Hall faces a maximum prison sentence of 20 years and a fine of up to $250,000.
