The Fed2 Star is taking a two-week break at the end of the month. There will be no edition on May 24 and May 31. So there will be a Star next week, then a pause for a fortnight and the Star will return on June 7.
There is absolutely no truth to the rumours that the newsdroids were threatening to go on strike unless they were given some time off. I would never give into that kind of blackmail - let them strike, and see how hard I can strike back! There are always more droids coming off the production line to replace those of my minions who offend me and thus get converted into trashcans.
