CHANGES TO DIVVY COMMAND DIDN'T GO EXACTLY AS PLANNED

Last week, I warned you that we were changing the 'ISSUE DIVIDEND' command so that a company could only use it twice a day. The new code was in operation when everybody logged onto the new server on Wednesday - but it didn't work exactly as it was intended.

Trying to issue a dividend resulted in the following message:

Under Galactic Admin Share Trading Rules (Book XIV, Section 931, Chapter 82, Para 1,597, Clause 48) only two dividends can be issued each day!

Actually, this turned out to be exactly true. The code was supposed to limit each company to two divvies per day. Instead, it limited the whole GAME to two divvies per day! So two companies issued a divvy, and thereafter nobody was able to. Whoops!

Bella fixed that the next day.
