CHANGES TO EVENTS: CRYPTOGRAMS MOVES, MAGELLAN CUP RETURNS

by Hazed

Cryptograms Moving to Mondays

Cryptograms is moving! Faced with real life interference, Catspaws has been unable to get the game going in its old slot on Saturday afternoons, so is going to shift the game to Mondays at 3.00pm eastern, when she is more able to host it regularly.

Cryptograms is a game all about solving codes. The host gives you a list of words or phrases with a common theme, which have been encrypted using a simple letter-substitution code. Figuring out one word in the list should make the rest of them a bit easier. This is not a spectator sport, because all you can see is the chewing of fingernails, the wrinkling of brows, and occasionally a burst of steam from somebody's ears - but new players are welcome to come along and try to decode the cryptograms.

Join Catspaws on Monday March 9 at 3.00pm for the relaunch of Cryptograms.

Magellan Cup Returns

An old event is coming back: Meteu is reviving the Magellan Cup, a racing game where contestants have to solve clues and race each other to the checkpoint, where they receive the next clue, and so on until they complete the course. You'll need brains to decipher the clues, and speed to reach the finish line before your opponents!

The event will be held every two weeks, starting this Wednesday at 10.00pm eastern. Get your ship tuned up, turn your brainpower to ten, and join Meteu for the return of the Magellan Cup.
