NEW CHARM HERALDS SPRINGTIME FOR GALLAGHERS

It's spring on Earth - at least, it is in the important part, where the Galactic Administration have their headquarters, the trading guild and the associated exchange can be found, and Gallaghers sells its exclusive range of gewgaws, gadgets and trinkets.

So pleased are they to see the back of winter, that Gallaghers new charm, which has gone on sale from their emporium this weekend, celebrates the turning of the seasons. It is a songbird, with bright blue feathers, and once you purchase it, it'll sing whenever you stroke it.

As always, the charm costs one slithy tove. (If you don't know what a slithy tove is, type 'HELP SLITHY' for an explanation.) You can only buy the bird if you own a keyring (if you don't, they also cost a slithy, and you can get one with 'BUY KEYRING'). To own this exclusive new charm, 'BUY SONGBIRD'. You can then clip it to your keyring, so that others can see it when they look at you. 'STROKE SONGBIRD CHARM' will cause it to sing, to the delight of everybody in the room with you.

Last month's valentine ribbon charm has now been officially withdrawn, although we understand that as she usually does, the shop's assistant has kept a few back in a box under the counter and will sell them for two slithy toves, so long as you promise not to tell her boss.
