We had several show up for the first of the great Thanksgiving turkey hunts. After having the rules explained, the Hunt began - read on see the action that happened. :

Dinger has just arrived.

Gwaptiva gets set
Tenabutter has left.

Gwaptiva has left.
Your comm unit relays a message from Djentsch, "and they're off with Tenabutter in the lead, followed by Dinger and Gwaptiva"
Your comm unit crackles with a message from Gwaptiva, "heeere, turkey turkey turkey"
Your comm unit relays a message from Turkey, "gulp"
The turkey seemed a bit worried, not sure why. Must been a hungry bunch on the hunt tonight. With a cry of pain, the Turkey announced that it'd been hit:

With Gwaptiva getting the first kicks in of the game. At the same time, he gave us his thoughts on Sumatra:

Your comm unit relays a message from Djentsch, "at the 10 minute mark, we've had 1 player get on the board with 5 kicks. who will get the next one in?"
Now I'm not sure, but I think that Gwaptiva also has a problem with Catspaws as well:

Which lasted about 5 seconds when Gwaptiva got another 5 kicks in.

Just when it looked like Gwaptiva would control the first round:

Gwaptiva tried a Turkey Call, but I don't think he had it just right:

At the end of the first round, the scores were as follows: in the lead with 13, Gwaptiva, followed by Tenabutter with 8 and Dinger with 0. During the break, the players were treated to food and drink by myself, the least I could do for the hard work they were doing.
There was a slight problem with Dinger's kicks showing up, and that was hashed out:
Dinger says, "my fault"
Gwaptiva says, "aha"
Dinger says, "Tena's fault actually"
Tenabutter shakes head as usual
Gwaptiva takes of his head and wrings the sweat out into a small puddle
Dinger says, "there's always a woman to blame"
Gwaptiva says, "didn't Bob Marley sing already: No woman no blame"
Dinger grins widely

Looks like they were planning how they would use the meat from the bird once it they caught it.

Your comm unit relays a message from Gwaptiva, "hmm, I think the turkey is trying to confuse us by speaking foreign"

Your comm unit relays a message from Djentsch, "and Dinger just got on the board with 4 kicks"
Your comm unit relays a message from Djentsch, "with 10 minutes left, Gwaptiva is still in the lead with 13, but Tena is RIGHT behind him with 12, and Dinger has 4"

Your comm unit crackles with a message from Gwaptiva, "weeee, Turkey in the castle!!"
At the end of the second round the scores were, 19 Gwaptiva, 12 Tena and 6 Dinger.
At the start of the third and final round: Tena was out first followed by her hubby, with Gwaptiva left flapping in the wind as if he forgot what to do.
Gwaptiva has just arrived.
Gwaptiva kicks Turkey
Gwaptiva has left.

Even though I told them that there was no bird in the Wok, they all decided to check it out anyways.

Gwaptiva got confused, must be cause he's in Germany or something:

Then came what might have been the downfall of the bird:

After getting kicked 32 times in a row, the Turkey pulled out all of the stops and found a hiding place that lasted until the end of the third round. After recalling the players and counting up the kicks, the results were as follows:
Djentsch says, "ok, Dinger is in last with 6 kicks"
Tenabutter has bought you a pint of Diesel's Old Peculiar strong dark ale.
