THE HAUNTED LP TOUR RESULTS

I would like to thank everyone who participated in the Halloween LP and Costume Contest. There were some truly inspired entries and I had a lot of fun visiting each one. It is your participation that makes it all worth while.
Also, a very special thank you goes out to Djentsch who kindly donated the Prize Slithies for the contest.
There were ten planets on the tour: Altwerkz, Buttered Rum, Carpathia, Hook, Midgar, Rigel 4, Siryn, Sulawesi, Victus, Wasteland, plus Ritual which could not be given a score. After seeing the entries, I was sorry I could only give one Slithy. There were some truly excellent descriptions written and I felt many of them deserved a prize. The winners of both the LP contest and the costume contest were decided by other players' votes.
And now for the winners...

The winner of the haunted LP contest with an average score of 8.25 is Wasteland! Be warned.. the following description is not for the faint hearted.
Wasteland
You somehow took a wrong jump and ended up here. You gaze down upon a desert like planet all tan with sand.
Exiting your Shuttle a receptionist swoops you into a mobile chair which forms to your body and you are unable to move. The chair starts to move towards a door that reads Arlene's House of Pleasure, you can only guess what waits for you inside. As you enter you notice all the stations are blocked by privacy screens. As your chair reaches the first station you find that Arlene is there and removes your footwear you hear a scream so that it seems like someone is dieing in one of the other stations.. Arlene stares at your feet she reaches for a long 7 inch course file but before she starts she places a hot towel over your eyes, as you start feeling pressure on your toenails you hear this screeching endless noise like fingernails on a chalkboard. As she continues to your fingernails till she finishes doing your nails the noise now is just as numb to you as your feel. As you feel the chair recline backwards the towel is removed from your face.
As soon as you try to open your eyes Arlene starts to apply the smelliest facial mudpack that reminds you of the men's loo on earth, As it starts to dry your hair starts to get washed. The smell and feel reminds you of the moat around the castle on Graveyard. As the shampoo getting worked in then you realized its something crawling in your hair instead, which reminds you of the food special at Godot's snacks on Earth. Then a droid assists your into a bikini bottoms. You hear the buzzing of bees and feel a warm gel like substance being applied to the very top inner thigh. A soft cloth is massaged on top of it. As you feel the first ripping of the tape begins you pass out from shear agony. You wake up staring into the mirror with a reflection of you as Arlene. Victus was a very close second with an average score of 8 so I thought I would show everyone that one too. Munabilo found a way to really add to the description with emotes as you can see.
Victus
You step out of your shuttle onto a wet firmness that is entirely not right. It crunches slightly under your weight, like stepping on many snails or beetles. Obviously biological in nature, the entire landing bay has been overgrown with a very skeletal, slimy carapace. The normal lighting has been put out and as your eyes adjust to the dimness, you see that living things have also been trapped in the mucous-covered chitin. Many residents and visitors to the station have been encased, such that their limbs and bodies have been made immovable, but their pale, unconscious faces are still exposed. By the slight rising and falling of their chests, you can tell they are not dead, but they also don't seem alive...
Unbelievably, also trapped and unconscious, Munabilo is here.
Munabilo's eyes snap open and stare intensely back at you, pupils dialated and black. Strained and raspy its voice implores, "Please... KILL ME."
Munabilo twitches and convulses in its bonds. It screams, high pitched and loud. But the screams are cut short as its chest protrudes outward unnaturally, and then bursts in an explosion of chitin, blood, tissue and bone.
Munabilo slumps as, out of the cavity now in its chest, emerges a bony, bloody creature. It glances at you and hisses, leaps to the floor and skitters toward your open shuttle door. Looking back, it hisses once more, and disappears inside.
Shrevo and Nomad will each receive a Slithy. Congratulations to you both.
