FEDERGORIES

This week I had Kalandra, Dinger, and Congene join me for Federgories, and since the holiday weekend had only just passed, I chose 4th of July was just the week as the theme for tonight.
After a quick overview on the rules, we started off with: " Things you would take to a 4th of July Picnic starting with... C." Kalandra said "Chocolate Cookies," Congene said "Cola!" and Dinger said "Comforter."
Then we had: "Things that make a loud noise starting with... P." Dinger said "Propeller," Kalandra said "Pyrotechnics," and Congene said "Penguins." We finally decided penguins did make a noise... when you stepped on them!
Our first Fed round was: "Fed Planet starting with...G." Kalandra said "Getix," Congene said "Gough Prime," and Dinger decided to be funny and said "Gstring."
Then we had: "A Signer of the Declaration of Independence," "Name one of the Original Thirteen Colonies" and "Fed Player starting with...K."
This was followed by: "Things with a fuse starting with...F" where Kalandra said "Flaming Torch," Dinger said "Firebomb" and Congene said "Fire-cracker."
We had: "A Word in the Star Spangled Banner starting with...B." Kalandra said "Bursting," Dinger said "Bright" and Congene said "Bombs." Our final Fed Category was: "Fed System starting with E." Congene said "Eerie" and Dinger said "Eriez."
Then for the bonus round, tThe Category was: "Things you'd hear people say at a Fireworks Display!"
The answers were:
Congene, "wow, ooh, ahh, OMG, watch out, how pretty, I need another beer, wonderful, patriotic, anthem, colorful."
Kalandra, "ooooh, wow that was bright, music sucks, I wish he would sit down, lets go now before the trafic is bad, pass the beer, pretty colors, ahhh."
Dinger, "Wow, crazy, oh my, sheesh, look out!, help, light it, get the water, get me a beer, watermelon."
After everything was tallied, the final scores were:
Kalandra and Dinger in second place with 14 points and Congene in first with... 17 points!
