NEWSDROIDS GOING ON A SUMMER HOLIDAY

Summer is here, and the newsdroids want a vacation. They've all got plans to visit exotic locations, burn their casings under alien skies and paddle in strange seas. I could do with a rest myself - it's not easy forcing the droids to work every week!

Plus, we're entering the quiet period for Galactic news, when all branches of the media struggle to find stories to report on, and often have to resort to the worst kind of barrel-scraping to fill their pages. I'll leave the celebrity scandal and meaningless tittle-tattle to other periodicals, thank you!

So there will be no issue of the Fed2 Star next week or the week after (July 6 and 13). We'll be back on July 20.
