THE IMPORTANCE OF VOTING

by Hazed

I know you Americans are probably sick and tired of hearing anything to do with elections, what with the never-ending primary thingies that seem to have dragged on all century and will continue until the sun turns cold, but I need to talk to you about the importance of voting for Fed2. Forget your president, this is much more important!

As regular readers will know, The Mud Connect, one of the biggest sites about multi-player games, runs a poll of the most popular games as voted for by the players. Traditionally, we have managed to stay in the top ten and for a long while we were at number 3. Yay, Fed!

But last December, TMC changed the rules. They now zero the votes every two months, so that everybody has to start over on a level playing field. They did it two days ago, on February 1, and we are currently languishing at number 15 in the rankings. Disaster! But easily changed. It only needs a few extra people to start voting for us to get us back up the ranks into the Top Ten.

You can cast your vote once a day (any more than one vote from the same IP address and the extras get discarded) so please do so. If we don't show up in the Top Ten, it severely reduces the number of new players who come here - and without new players, Fed2 won't survive.

Vote for Fed2 every day by clicking on the button at http://www.ibgames.net/vote.html. Please.
