LAST PIECE OF THE REMOTE CONTROLby HazedPlanet owners, you now have no excuse to be a recluse, because the bounteous Bella has coded in the final remote control command that allows you to tweak your planet economy from anywhere in the Galaxy. In the process, she's changed the way the existing command worked, because it was a little confusing and illogical. So out go the SET MIN and SET MAX commands, to be replaced with the SET STOCKPILE command. The format of the new command is 'SET STOCKPILE min|max amount commodity planetname'. Use 'min' to set the lower end of the stockpile, and 'max' for the upper end. Leave off the commodity and the change will apply to the whole exchange. Without the planet name, it applies to the planet you are standing on so long as you own it. For example, 'set stockpile min 300' will tell your exchange not to let the stockpile go lower than 300 for all commodities. 'Set stockpile max 20000 woods' issues the instruction that the stockpile for woods can go as high as 20,000 tons. And, of course, to issue the commands remotely, it's 'set stockpile min 100 livestock rigel 4'. At least, it is if your name is Pugwash! The limits on the upper and lower values still apply: max must be between 20,000 and 200 and min between 2,000 and 100. The old versions will also work for a few more days, to give you time to read this information, inwardly digest, and get used to the new command. So, with this, you need never set foot on your own planet again. Let the party begin! |
