NEW FEDTERM CHARACTER AND PLANET PICTURES

There's a bunch of new pictures you can download and add to your various FedTerm folders so you can see what Fed folk and their planets look like.

First up, there's some new images in the gallery for character pictures:

  • Clipper is a male cloudarian who looks to my demi-divine eye just like an ancient sailing ship.
  • Doncorleone is a male sicilian who appears to be making me an offer I can't refuse.
  • Gooner is also a male cloudarian who is here represented by a sporting shield.
  • Jets is a male human wearing a personal jetpack - what fun!
  • Nkir is another male human in the guise of a mad scientist.
  • Ronson is yet another male cloudarian who is represented by an object.

Some very bizarre pictures there, and I note they are all men. No females and no neuters. Is the galaxy in danger of becoming dominated by the male gender? I sincerely hope not!

Download the pictures by right-clicking on them and selecting Save As... and put them into the pictures sub-folder of your FedTerm folder.

In the planet picture gallery there are two new pictures: Luna and Pia are both in the Nitor system, and both look very attractive from space.

Grab these pictures and put them into the Fedterm\planets folder.

If you want to let other people see what you, or your planet, looks like, you should make a picture to show us and mail it to feedback@ibgames.com. Character pictures are 80 pixels wide by 96 high; planet pictures are 172 pixels square. Both should be in .bmp format. Character pictures should be named after your character, ie pugwash.bmp or newbod.bmp. Planet pictures should have a filename to match the planet name, ie marina.bmp or rigel 4.bmp.
