SECOND PLANET MESSAGE FILE

by Hazed

One of the things you can customize when you own your own planet is the no-exit message - the response the game sends when a player blunders into a wall by trying to go in a direction where there isn't an exit. These messages are held in a message file, which will also contain any messages which you use once you can have events on your planet. Anyone who has commissioned me to put custom objects and events on your planet will have a message file which holds all of the text sent when players do stuff with the objects.

If you want to have any no-exit messages for your second planet, you will have to create a new message file to go along with the new map - you can't just use the messages from your original message file. Each planet has its own unique set of files and there is no sharing allowed. The message file always has the same filename as your planet map, so if the second planet is called Bodopolis, the map is called bodopolis.loc and the message file is called bodopolis.msg.
