CRYPTOGRAMS

The decision to invade Voyager this week was prompted by Kblackdragon's insistence that he is not good at Cryptograms. If the dragon won't come to the game, the game will go to the dragon. We had a good group this week, with five players and two spectators. None of them, unfortunately, was the dragon. The theme this week was "Begins with F", so we started off, naturally enough, with the names of founders. Ariadne led the pack in solving this puzzle, which all five players found pretty easy.

The second puzzle dealt with terms related to futures. Madadder found this puzzle pretty easy, and again all the players solved it.

The third puzzle could conceivably fall into the "Think Like the Kitty" category, as we came up with things you can do to or with a factory. This puzzle had an easy starting point with the single letter found in several of the entries. Again, Madadder led the pack in solving this puzzle.

For the final puzzle, I wanted to come up with a list of fun things you can do in Fed. (Cryptograms, of course, is one of them.) The single letter in several entries was a good starting point, and Ariadne solved the list first.

When the scores were tallied, Ariadne won first place, Zand abandoned his usual place to take the second place trophy, and Madadder came in third.
