REGISTRY OF WAREHOUSES

by Dot Matrix

The unexpected destruction of a warehouse this morning by the rampaging rioters of Rigel has highlighted an anomaly in the way property is registered on planets, as it was realized that nowhere was there a central list of who owned warehouses on the planet. This made it very hard for planet-owners to warn warehouse owners about potential unrest.

Given the Galactic Administration's mania for paperwork and red tape, this is a surprising omission, and one that, as soon as it was brought to the bureaucrats' attention, was swiftly remedied. You will now find that the planet display includes this information. Whether it will be of any use to anybody is another matter, since warehouses don't actually use up workthings from the planetary labor pool so, frankly, who cares how many of them there are? Still, it will give POs a handle on who is trading on their worlds, which I suppose will be interesting.
