Another month is almost at an end, which means it is time for us to pay the bills to keep Fed2 going. The best things in life are certainly not free; the network and co-lo charges need paying for and that means we need money from you, the players. We offer you the game for free but we rely on you to buy slithy toves to keep things afloat.

Slithy toves can be exchanged in the game for a number of things, both useful and trivial. Perhaps the most popular use for a slithy is to upgrade you navcomp so you can use the 'GOTO' command to move between Sol planets - a very useful feature particularly for those doing hauling and akaturi jobs. Higher ranks find the remote price checking service very useful, and POs can convert a slithy into enough cash for an infrastructure build.

You can also pay slithies to get married or divorced!

Slithy toves cost $5 each. You can make a one-off purchase of anything between 2 and 10 slithies, or you can take out a subscription and receive 4 for the price of 3 each month. Whichever method you choose, the money is used to pay the Fed2 bills. Buy some slithies on the Extras page.
