Fed II Star - April 30, 2006

Continuing with the April Foolishness in Fed, I guest-hosted Feddergories for the evening. And I was live from the Spinning Wheel Bar on Magellan. Well, I had been at the bar for quite some time, so I was barely live at the start of the game. Jessecka, Zadymka, Gradon, Lynnea and Bourbon all tuned in to play, while Dunavant and Droid just watched, with a slithy on the line for the winner.

After going over the rules, the game got underway. The first category was "colors in a crayon box starting with G." The second round category was "items you'd find in the checkout line starting with M." Typically, had mostly candy related items, but Jessecka went with the mickey mouse air freshners. I wondered if that meant it smells like a mouse or it was just shaped like one? Oh well, we continued on regardless.

Round 3 gave us a Fed-related category, followed by round 4 which was "things associated with Easter starting with R." Again, had some pretty normal answers with the exception of Jess again, saying rittilin overdosed kids. We moved on to round 5 with "types of trees starting with P" For the sake of our Star readers, the answers to this one and the comments that followed will be ommited. Just know that there are certain types of willows that are feminine, but Lynnea prefers the nuts from a pecan tree.

Scores at the break found Lynnea, Jessecka and Gradon tied at 6, Zadymka at 4 and Bourbon at 1. Bourbon was pretty responsive for a while, but as he was in his hot tub with Lynnea and Zadymka, I can only assume that he got, otherwise, disctracted for some reason.

After rounds 6, 7, and 8, we came to round 9, which was another Fed-related round:

And the results for the round:

xt Jessecka - down, obviously she goes down alot, Lynnea - di factory 15, Zadymka - dropoff, and the obvious trader of the bunch, Gradon - display futures.

After round 10, we headed to the ever popular bonus round. "80's hair bands" Jess got punted right as I gave the category so unfortunately she was not able to compete, but the other players did very well. After I received all the answers and tallied the votes, I announced the scores.

Bourbon remained at 1 point, Jess took third with 12 points, Lynnea snagged second with 16 and Zadymka and Gradon tied for first with 18 points. Congratulations to Zady and Gra, who each received a slithy.
