VOTE EARLY, VOTE OFTEN

The Mud Connector has changed the way it calculates the rankings of its top games, and as a result it's now much easier for you to vote for Fed II as your favorite.

You have probably heard people exhorting you to go and vote "all three ways", but many of our players didn't understand what that meant. We had a web page that explained it but the whole concept was complicated. What it meant was that TMC took three different indicators and combined them to create the rankings - the number of people who voted for Fed II, the number of people who clicked on a link to go to the Fed II homepage, and the number of people who clicked to play the game.

This has changed and now the rankings are calculated purely on the vote. This should benefit us because we were pretty successful at whipping people to go and vote, but never did get everyone to vote all three ways.

In addition, you no longer have to type in the hard-to-read characters to prove that you are a real human and not a remote bot-thing. Hooray, no more eye-strain from trying to read the letters on the hideous brightly-colored tartan background!

The votes have been zeroed, as of last weekend, so all previous votes have been discarded and don't count any more. At the time of writing, we are at number 8 in the ranks, and we hope to get even higher. To do that, we need you - all of you - to go and vote once a day, every single day. Now that's it much easier to vote for Fed II you don't have any excuse! You can vote by going to the vote page and clicking on the button. And if you use FedTerm as your front-end you can get it to remind you every day.
