Eleven players joined me for the first Feddergories! game of 2006, broadcast live from Magellan Cup's meeting point (the Link between wheels on Magellan). Those players were: Averatec, Catspaws, Elijah, Fancy, Honoria, Jessecka, Lynnea, Phedre, Prometheus, Robius, and Southgnte. After going over the rules for new players we were ready to shove off.

We kicked off with a Fed-related category, People/Places/Things: Magellan, starting with P. Fancy scored here with "Parisian restaurants," Averatec with "pad, landing," Catspaws with "polymers," Prometheus with "photographs," and Robius with "President of Magellan Society." Lynnea made a valiant effort but did not score with "Peter Piper."

Round two was another Fed category, Fed II Players starting with T. Fancy scored with "Tengumai" and Robius scored with "Taran." Six players matched on "Txkipani," the only T name that was logged in at the time.

Next up was Television Shows, and then Athletes, in which we learned that Will Smith was not an athlete. Round 5 was a Boy's Name, and then we looked at the scores. After five rounds, Fancy had the early lead, followed closely by Prometheus, Robius, and Averatec.

Round six was A Girl's Name, then for round seven we had the third Fed category: Fed II Planets or Systems, starting with M. Prometheus scored with "Magrathea," Robius with "Maroon," Fancy with "Mars," and Honoria with "Moon." Two players matched on "Marina," two matched on "Meta," and two matched on "Mercury."

The last three rounds were Four-Letter Words, Animals, and Items In Your Wallet Or Purse. After ten rounds, we checked scores again. Prometheus, Robius, and Fancy were all tied for the lead.

The bonus round was Types of Nuts. Here are the players that scored with unique answers on this category.

Prometheus and Robius are this week's Feddergories! champions, tying for first place.
