JEZZ'S FED2 PLAYLIST

1. Rhea. Song: It's not easy being green.. sung by Kermit on Sesame Street
Research and Development
The door in the north wall has opened to reveal yet another laboratory, this one having several computers on which chemical formula are modeled. One young scientist calls over a supervisor with an excited, "Look at this! I think I've got it!"
The white coated supervisor walks over, looks, and then says, "Looks like you're getting closer, but why are those asparagus singing?
"It's just a side effect. We can take care of it later," the scientist explains.
The supervisor listens for a minute. "Better not," he suggests. "You know how popular the cabbages are."

2. Titan. Song: Radioactive by the Firm
Lobby
You are standing in a small lobby. To the east is a door marked 'THORIUM.' To the southeast is a door labeled 'URANIUM,' and to the south is a door marked 'TRANSURANICS.'
All the doors are made of heavy steel and have the words 'KEEP OUT' stenciled across them. To the north is the linking corridor to the main dome.
So many people have ignored the signs that the doors have been plastered with radioactive symbol fridge magnets!

3. Magellan. Song: The Galop from Jaques Offenbach's Orpheus in the Underworld
Le Club Chaud
The name means The Hot Club, which was intended to imply that the club is the in place to go, at the height of modality. It could also apply to the ambient temperature; the crowds are packed tight in here and it's very hot. Tables and chairs are crammed in so as many people as possible can see the stage on which dancers are performing the cancan - a lively dance in which they kick their legs high into the air, showing their underwear. When it was invented, this dance was the height of naughtiness and was banned, but today it just seems jolly good fun!
Waitdroids bustle around, ensuring that every table has a carafe of cheap red wine on it. The patrons guzzle the wine with gusto as they cheer on the antics of the high-kicking dancers. Many of the patrons have dressed in traditional old Parisian dress for the occasion, which adds to their enjoyment.

4. Selena. Song: Title Track from 2001: Space Oddyssey (Also Sprach Zarathustra) by Richard Strauss
Viewing Lounge
The colony's viewing area has large transparent panels fitted into the roof of the dome, through which you can see the blue-green crescent of the waning Earth. To the west a pleasant cafe beckons.
East is the dome's entrance, while south and southeast the viewing area continues.

5. Earth. Song: Jungle Boogie by Kool and the Gang
Mini-zoo
Crowds surge backwards and forwards, enjoying the spectacle of the Galaxy's most impressive collection of miniature animals. Children are entranced, wanting to take the small exhibits home with them; even adults can't help smiling as they watch the tiny little creatures. Some of the mini animals are roaming freely in amongst the crowds - you can see a camel about the size of an alsatian dog, and a giraffe whose long neck brings its head level with that of the young children. A tiny panda waddles around, using its soulful eyes to persuade people to feed it. A mini hippo wallows joyfully in a small pool, splashing mud in all directions.

6. Mercury. Song: Prop Me Up Beside the Jukebox by Joe Diffie
Old Earth Taproom
The most popular bar on Mercury is decked out in the style of a tavern from the pre-spaceflight days on Earth. Some obscure agricultural equipment hangs on one of the walls. A display case contains a golden horseshoe, which the legend claims belonged to Pegasus himself. A closer look shows that it's actually made out of brass.
Pride of place is given to a type of two-wheeled personal transportation called a motorcycle, which looks very unlikely and somewhat dangerous.
You can see a jukebox and some dice.

7. Mars. Song: As Time Goes By sung by Dooley Wilson in Casablanca
Chez Diesel ( Social Center of the Solar System)
This bar is one of the few constants in this ever-changing world - Diesel has been a leading light in Mars culture for centuries.
The centerpiece of the room is a large fountain made of white marble, which has been decorated with intricate abstract designs. The water changes color every few minutes, and the gushing upjet changes speed and direction, sometimes sprinkling the drinkers with water. Shoals of tiny robotic fish dart around in the rippling pool, chasing a floating shamrock left over from a party.
The decor is black, the fittings chrome, and the seats are the plushest, most comfortable leather sofas ever invented. The walls are covered with a thick, soft fabric so that anybody collapsing against them will be cushioned as they slide to the ground.
A shiny new electronic piano sits in one corner, and an elderly Arcturian uses his four arms to good effect to play requests.

8. Venus. Song: Sweet Dreams are Made of These by Annie Lennox
Dirty Boy Productions
From this office, Fogg and his associates produce a number of magazines which are exported all over the Galaxy. The desk contains the latest issues of some of the titles - you can see copies of Venusian Babes, Martian Maids, and Readers' Droids.
A large poster on the wall shows the centerfold from the latest Raunchy Rigellians, featuring a small, green Rigellian woman, a flying jacket slung casually over one shoulder, baring all for the cameras... can it be Bella? Surely it must be a fix-up, with her head stuck on someone else's body. You wonder if she knows about this, and decide that you don't want to be the one to tell her.

9. Venus. Song: Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds by The Beatles
Museum
This area of the museum is devoted to Venus. Display cases show examples of the fabulous gems for which the planet is famous, and the exotic, hallucinogen-producing, plant life. The cases are securely locked, and contain all kinds of sensors and alarms designed to prevent theft.

10. Pearl. Song: Aria (One Fine day) From Madame Butterfly by Giacomo Puccini
Shrine of the Sunbeam
In a simple alcove, on a stark black lacquered altar table, is the Shrine of the Sunbeam. Yohkoh is Japanese for "sunbeam", and it is from this that the Guild and its members take their name. The shrine is to honor their ancestresses; a long line of courageous women stretching back in time into the mists of a tiny island on ancient Earth. Small cushions before the altar to ease those who pause and kneel to pay their respects. Low tables on the tatamis for study and contemplation. A space for a moment of personal privacy. On a wall is a holo of Under the Great Wave Off Kanagawa by Katsushika Hokusai. Ancient, hand woven fiber fishing nets drape around it. Entwined in the nets are hand forged metal knives, once actively used by Guild members to gather the precious pearls.
