Clio starts setting up equipment at the back of the room.

Just hanging out Ferreri has just arrived. Ferreri is wearing some medallions and is carrying a keyring.

The red leather jumpsuit, cut nearly to her navel, matches her 5" heels but, you can't see enough of her tattoo to make it out. She glares at you from under her red leather cowgirl hat and fingers her twin laser blasters.
Ferreri is wearing:
A cross. The small Christian style cross is of plain silver and is hung on an equally plain chain.
A pegasus medallion. The polished obsidian medallion shows a pegasus rampant. This ancient symbol of arbitrary violence is believed to provide some protection against pirates. It hangs on a white gold chain.
A yin-yang symbol. The ancient Chinese symbol has been enamelled onto the medallion, which is hung on a hammered gunmetal chain.
A marillion medallion. The tigers eye has been carved to depict a marillion between a pair of cupped hands. It comes with an Xmetal chain.
Ferreri is carrying a multi-dimensional keyring made by the prestigous TenBrane Corp. If you look carefully you can see the glow of the macro-superstring logo. It has on it:
An executive washroom key. The ornate key is a much sought after key to the Galactic Administration executive washroom, and is genetically coded to its owner.
A 2005 valentine heart. You can see a small red valentine heart with the number 2005 etched into it.
A croquet mallet. You can see a miniature croquet mallet cunningly carved so that it also appears to be a tiny pink flamingo.
A silver shamrock. The shamrock is an exquisitely wrought silver keyring accessory.
A 2005 jester. You can see a square cut Venusian diamond. At its heart a tiny holo of a jester juggles balls, turns cartwheels and performs fire eating tricks for your entertainment. In tiny letters on the edge of the plinth on which he is performing is the number '2005'.

Art breaks out the duct tape and gets ready to keep Ferreri in the hot seat.

Ferreri says, "can you put some of that across my mouth too, Art?"

Art says, "Oh no, you have to be able to talk"

Art signals Clio to start filming.

Art exclaims, "Welcome, everyone to Meet & Greet!"

Art says, "My guest tonight is the very fabulous Ferreri."

Dunavant applauds

Art hands Ferreri a mic and starts duct taping her to the hot seat... chair.

Art asks, "Tell us a bit about your early Fed life, Ferreri. How did you find Fed?"

Ferreri says, "I found Fed in AOL"

Art asks, "The welcome banner?"

Ferreri says, "it was back in Oct., 1995"

Starlina does a small polite golf clap.

Ragnor says, "wooohooo"

Ferreri says, "yes, had to go see"

Art asks, "Were you using a different name then?"

Starlina remembers the number 1 in there somewhere.

Ferreri says, "I had been playing another Space Trader game and Fed looked better"

Stuverats does too

Starlina winks at Ferreri

Arbutus exclaims, "Yeah, Space Trader!"

Ferreri winks, "yes, my name was Ferreri1 ;)"

Starlina does another polite golf clap.

Jessecka exclaims, "one!"

Art chuckles.

Ferreri says, "there weren't any player planets at the time"

Art asks, "None?"

Ragnor drawls, "I actually remember that..."

Ferreri says, "no, there were planets beyond the link.. but not player ones."

Art says, "Ah"

Art asks, "What was it like back then?"

Ferreri says, "compared to the game I had been playing it was GREAT"

Art grins.

Ferreri says, "the old one you took 1 turn a week and emailed it in."

Jolia chuckles

Art exclaims, "Yikes!"

Stuverats says, "Geez, no wonder"

Fancy chuckles in amazement.

Jessecka giggles.

Ferreri says, "so I was having a great time"

Art says, "I bet. Even lag would be better than that."

Ferreri says, "took vavaction and holiday time to play"

Starlina shudders at the thought of lag

Starlina says, "nothing like a good vavaction"

Stuverats hasn't had one of those in a long time

Ferreri says, "that was pay to play AOL, I spent a lot"

Starlina remembers getting a side job to pay for those days

Art asks, "So, you had those mega bills?"

Stuverats asks, "Who didn't?"

Bamababe rememebers all those big phone bills too.

Starlina giggles.

Ferreri says, "bigger than I really could afford"

Art nods.

Logical nods

Art asks, "But then you finally got a planet of your own...?"

Ragnor says, "my mom was a chat room director...we had free premium games :x"

Ferreri says, "yes, I had Dune"

Art exclaims, "Oh, I remember that one!"

Starlina applauds Dune.

Archer has fond memories of the Dune LP ;)

Jessecka exclaims, "oooooo, Dune, I remember!"

Ferreri smiles, "thank you, Archer :)"

Archer grins

Fancy remembers having explored Dune a bit, and it being used in Duchy Safari once.

Starlina ahems

Art says, "Yes... the spice was orange."

Bamababe giggles.

Art asks, "What was your highest level?"

Ferreri says, "Baroness"

Ferreri says, "I didn't want to go higher, looked like too much work"

Art drawls, "Of course, you didn't neglect the more social side of things..."

Ferreri says, "oh, I loved the parties and the Bar Crawls... whippy cream fights... pool parties"

Art grins hugely.

Art asks, "Anything in particular stand out?"

Starlina thinks back to bachelorette parties and hot tubs

Starlina snickers.

Ferreri says, "couple of things, parties in Harem, parades on Bourbon, sitting on the LP and listening to CDs with friends"

Art says, "Those were wonderful parades."

Ferreri says, "one night some guy came to my LP to tell me I didn't know anything about Dune"

Starlina laughs

Art asks, "Really?"

Fancy laughs in disbelief.

Bamababe scoffs, Ferr knows EVERYTHING

Dunavant chuckles

Art says, "He thought he knew more? The silly boy."

Ferreri says, "turned out he didn't know there were books or movies... all he'd ever seen was a video game"

Jessecka giggles.

Art exclaims, "Oh good grief!"

Stuverats says, "Oh, one of THOSE people"

Fancy chuckles and shakes his head slowly.

Art shudders.

Art asks, "Any special people?"

Art wants names and dates...

Ferreri says, "my best friends from there aren't all in this version."

Ferreri says, "I was real close with Deathiscom"

Art says, "I remember that name."

Ferreri winks, "haven't got him to come here, yet ;)"

Fancy smiles, having met him at a Fed Meet.

Art winks, "Well, keep working on him ;)"

Ferreri says, "I will"

Art asks, "Did you make the move to the web when AOL got picky?"

Ferreri says, "but I've met sevveral Fedders at meets... they are all great"

Ferreri says, "yes, moved to the web, changed my name"

Art asks, "What did you change it to?"

Logical remembers when we could choose names, instead of aol screen names

Ferreri winks, "Ferreri ;)"

Art winks, "Naturally ;)"

Ferreri says, "I played on the web until 2002"

Art asks, "What happened then?"

Ferreri says, "I was in a car accident and couldn't get online for a couple of months... then my finances changed"

Art says, "Ouch, I'm sorry to hear that"

Ferreri says, "stuff happens"

Ferreri says, "but I still got the Star every week and read it."

Art asks, "You're ok now, I hope?"

Ferreri says, "I set off metal detectors, but otherwise okay"

Ferreri says, "when I read Fed II was going to go live in 2 weeks I came back... last April I think... wanted to be on Alpha crew"

Ferreri says, "I worked real hard to get to Merchant (Trader then) in 10 days"

Rasal high-fives the Alpha Crew members. They know who they are.

Art asks, "10 days?"

Art is impressed.

Ferreri says, "yes, 10 days... 750 ak jobs too"

Art exclaims, "Ouch!"

Ferreri says, "I just wanted it"

Art asks, "What was the toughest thing to do?"

Ferreri says, "I asked help once, couldn't figure out how to ask Tracey"

Art says, "It can be a bit puzzling."

Ferreri says, "seems you couldn't capitalize her name back then"

Art remembers.

Ferreri says, "actually, figuring out futures was hard too"

Art is NOT looking forward to that.

Art asks, "Any advice about futures?"

Ferreri says, "there wasn't anyone to ask for help"

Fancy drawls, "Once you get the hang of it, though..."

Jolia rolls her eyes at Fancy and pokes him!

Ferreri says, "advice on futures... read the Trader Tips, ask questions from folks who know, go to the classroom"

Art checks the duct tape and adjusts one place that had come lose.

Ferreri says, "no, I'm as ready as I'll get"

Jessecka asks, "Have you ever had a Fed romance, and if so, who and what happened? Is there someone you have a thing for in Fed2?"

Ferreri says, "yes, had one with Deathiscom... he and I had a falling out and everytime he saw me in space he would fire on me"

Ferreri says, "no one here in Fed 2"

Jessecka says, "ah, that's not good"

Fancy asks, "Was that before or after meeting in person?"

Ferreri says, "put me in the hospital a couple of times"

Art exclaims, "Eek!"

Archer asks, "What do you enjoy most about Fed II?"

Ferreri says, "the people"

Bamababe asks, "Have you decided on your next planet theme? or are you gona bring back Dune?"

Ferreri says, "I haven't decided, there was something I wanted to put in Dune that I couldn't figure out how to do... this new Fed looks like it will do it."

Jolia raises her hand

Bamababe wonders what that was.

Art says, "You can do a lot of new things in here."

Dunavant grins

Art asks, "Jolia?"

Ferreri says, "ride the giant worms across the desert"

Bamababe grins.

Jolia asks, "Where did you come up with the name Ferreri? Does it have a special meaning or a name IRL?"

Ferreri says, "It has a special meaning, it's my last name in RL"

Jolia nods and smiles, "I've always wondered and just haven't asked. ;)"

Jessecka raises her hand.

Art asks, "Jess?"

Jessecka asks, "if you could name one person who has affected your fedlife the most, who was it, and why?"

Ferreri says, "in AOL Fed.. it was JWofCA... had my first factories on her planet Tahoe... we would sit on her LP and say to each other what CD are you listening to now? It was always the same."

Art giggles.

Bamababe smiles.

Art asks, "Next?"

Ferreri says, "here it's harder for me to say."

Bamababe raises her hand.

Ferreri says, "the most embarrassing thing I ever did was in AOL Fed... before I owned factories, I was asked to be Brides Maid at a wedding then to dance at the reception"

Art tightens the duct tape...

Ferreri says, "the reception was in a bar with a stage where you could change clothes"

Art asks, "What was so bad about that?"

Ferreri says, "I planned all week different outfits, so it would look like I was stripping"

Clio doesn't believe the innocent part.

Jessecka might not want to know, knowing Ferr's liking for no clothing.

Ferreri says, "so the night came and I did it... only to find out the happy couple was 12 years old and no one there was over 14"
