Jessecka asks, "Ok Dw, dear, why don't you start off by telling us a bit about your Fed Classic life. How did you find Fed?"

Desertwolf says, "I found it back in the AOL days"

Ferreri pets the kitty

Desertwolf says, "Not much to say about it really.. I stayed pretty much to myself"

Jessecka grins.

Jessecka winks, "no worries....I shall pull out all the gossip in due time ;)"

Jessecka giggles.

Desertwolf chuckles

Jessecka asks, "so you started playing classic on aol. How far did you go?"

Desertwolf says, "I had gotten to the point of owning a few factories"

Jessecka asks, "so did you leave classic?"

Desertwolf says, "I stopped when it left AOL... paying for an online game wasn't in the budget"

Jessecka nods.

Jessecka asks, "so you never played classic after it went to the web?"

Desertwolf says, "Unfortunately no... but my girlfriend was happy to clear out all the graph paper I had scattered all over the computer desk"

Jessecka laughs.

Icey has just arrived. Icey is carrying a keyring.

Desertwolf says, "When I played I loved the game.... Then last year was looking for a game to play and found that Fed II had been created"

Jessecka smiles.

Desertwolf says, "Finances were different so I thought I'd give it a try"

Jessecka asks, "so we make it to Fed2. How did you like the changes that had been made in the new version?"

Desertwolf says, "I like that you aren't depending on other players to advance"

Jessecka nods.

Jessecka winks, "no rich benefactors in Fed2 ;)"

Desertwolf says, "seeing as I still keep to myself.. it's helpful"

Jessecka winks, "well, now, you talk about being a loner, and keeping to yourself, but you created the Fed2 Player Pic site. That's not keeping to yourself that much ;)"

Jessecka has given Desertwolf a cool tickle.

Desertwolf says, "I can do that without interacting with others much"

Jessecka says, "so tell us a bit about your how that got started....what gave you the idea and such"

Desertwolf winks, "They send their pics to a P.O. Box... I alter them to look worse.. and post them for everyone to see ;)"

Jessecka laughs.

Desertwolf says, "Well.. with the creation of FedTerm it seemed like there would be a lot of pic trading over the comms"

Jessecka nods.

Ferreri says, "so that's what happened to my pic"

Desertwolf says, "I figured a central site would help eliminate the comm traffic"

Jessecka asks, "so what goes into creating something like that? Did you have help from Fed in the beginning?"

Desertwolf says, "Not really.. I spoke with them for the OK but created the site on my own"

Desertwolf says, "I have taken suggestions to make it better as well"

Jessecka nods.

Desertwolf says, "I've done site before so the simple coding wasn't a problem"

Desertwolf says, "I wanted to keep it as simple as was needed to get the job done"

Jessecka nods.

Jessecka asks, "seems to me that it has been a great success. Any idea how many pics you have posted right now?"

Desertwolf says, "Haven't a clue.. over 100 I'm sure"

Jessecka grins.

Catspaws waits for Jessecka to count them all

Jessecka can't count that high, silly kitty.

Jessecka says, "Ok, let's talk a bit about your planet"

Jessecka smiles, "you are one of the first players in Fed2 to have a planet :)"

Desertwolf says, "It's still bank owned.. it's not mine yet"

Jessecka asks, "not having been a PO in classic, how hard was it to design a planet for Fed2?"

Desertwolf says, "Much tougher than I thought.. I'm still learning how things really work on a planet so there will be many changes to it before it's done"

Jessecka asks, "how did you come up for your idea for your planet?"

Desertwolf says, "I was throwing around a few ideas and this was the one that went the farthest in my head... I just need to wait and see if I can do all the things I'd like to with the ideas I have"

Desertwolf says, "There are some subtle clues as to what is coming but we'll see"

Jessecka winks, "I've been to Renglor, and I have to say, I really like the way it is laid out. But I do have a few questions about some of the things in your locations. ;)"

Jessecka winks, "Care to tell us what the Vulture Club is, or is that a top secret club? ;)"

Ferreri is a Vulture, founding member

Jessecka has given Ferreri an agreeable tickle.

Desertwolf says, "Well.. The Vultures was a name given to the first Financiers... we seemed to attack any new Indy for his/her shares... I wanted to pay tribute to the Vultures"

Jessecka smiles.

Dunavant drawls, "Vultures are cool..."

Desertwolf says, "Any Vulture wanting room in the hotel need just e-mail me"

Jessecka giggles.

Jessecka asks, "now your mansion. Lot's of us would like to see how you live....do you plan to open your home anytime soon?"

Desertwolf says, "I have the key to part of the mansion in Bella's hands... Up to her when you guys will get access"

Desertwolf says, "But it will only be access to PART of the mansion"

Ferreri winks, "bet that means I can't get into the bedroom ;)"

Jessecka asks, "you *claim* that you keep to yourself most of the time., Dw. But I happen to know that you have a very close circle of friends. How much do you think social interaction plays in the playing of Fed?"

Desertwolf winks, "You'll have to tour it to find out ;)"

Desertwolf says, "Having friends makes to time in Fed more enjoyable"

Desertwolf says, "the time as well"

Jessecka smiles.

Desertwolf says, "Besides.. it gives you someone to rag on others with"

Jessecka says, "I have one more big question that I will save until last. For now, why don't we turn the questions over to the players. Anyone who wants to ask a question, please raise your hand."

Desertwolf says, "Okay.. no hands.. I can go now"

Munpun says, "how do i raise hand"

Jessecka laughs.

Jessecka says, "go ahead Munpun, ask away"

Ferreri asks, "What changes would you like to see to Fed?"

Desertwolf says, "More communication on the comms... I know new players shouldn't be bombed by conversation but it's usually too quiet"

Jessecka laughs.

Jessecka says, "no, but the guest doesn't have to answer any question he is uncomfortable with"

Jessecka winks, "did you want to ask him something Munpun? ;)"

Munpun asks, "totally unrelated to the game, ya folks have any interest in antler art?"

Desertwolf says, "umm.. no"

Jessecka winks, "and we don't get details huh.....mmmmm, well, we'll just imagine ;)"

Jessecka asks, "anymore questions from the players before we wrap this up??"

Catspaws asks, "There was an article in the Star today by that mean old Poco about stomping kitties and such. As this comes to war, whose side will you be on, the kitties, or the weasel?"

Desertwolf says, "The kitties of course.."

Catspaws looks at Icey and starts to unsheathe her claws, slowly, one my one

Jessecka asks, "anyone else before we finish up?"

Jessecka exclaims, "Thanks to everyone for coming out today! Join me next week when we will be chasing that mentally deranged, geneticaly enhanced Turkey in Kick the Can! Slithies will be on the line for that! And again here in two weeks for Meet and Greet with Filbert, creator of the AllShares for Fed2!"
