WEB FED AWARD WINNING PLANET:
HARMONY - OVERLORD TABER

Reviewed on February 7, 1999

Jumping into orbit around Harmony, our reviewdroid found itself making a circuit of the planet, its computer picking up all sorts of data. This was pretty impressive, since Harmony itself is a rather low-tech world. (It turns out that the landing pad area is isolated from the rest of the planet, which explains where the transmissions were coming from. One mystery solved!)

Harmony is similar to a harbor town in the 1850s on old Earth. Once you've entered the main town of Mystique, prepare to leave the world of normal DataSpace behind. Instead you can find yourself relaxing as you walk down a packed dirt road, hear the surf crash onto the rocks, and check into an old-fashioned inn.

That's not to say that there isn't anything to do. If you're feeling brave you can sign onto a ship, or perhaps try and solve the mystery of the sunken ship Dauntless that is rumored to have ghosts walking the land. (Or is that the ocean?)

Harmony is a nice planet - there are some great descriptions and you get a real feel for this planet's atmosphere. The puzzle itself isn't too difficult; if you haven't tackled a puzzle before, this may be one for you to give a whirl. (Our reviewdroid wasn't thrilled about the maze portion of the puzzle, though.) All in all, Harmony's a nice solid world that's well worth taking a look at. Congratulations Taber, you've just gotten a Carpenter's Award!
