AWARD WINNING PLANET:
SIN - OVERLORD DETROS

When our reviewdroid saw the name of this planet, it began rubbing its metallic hands together and chortling to itself. Seen muttering, "At last, I get to do some fun stuff!" it scurried off to its ship and took off for Sin.

Once it arrived on the planet (and admiring the Freudian obelisk listing the directions) it felt a bit famished, so it simply HAD to go to Mr Creosote's Bar and Grill. There, it dined on the finest meals it thought possible... although it expects that endangered species activists will soon be arriving on its doorstep for daring to sample some of those dishes!

Our reviewdroid checked out the Virginia Bottomley Healthcare and Insurance Sales Experience, and finds itself to be a new man... er, woman... er, droid. Whatever. It made a special note at this point to try and avoid having to return while on Sin.

Almost afraid to get any work done on its ship at the Rookem, Bookem, and Scoot Shipyard, our reviewdroid instead headed into the planet itself. Finding itself uplifted by the messages on the Road to Sin, it soon found itself heading into the religious quarter of Sin. Visiting shrine after shrine, our reviewdroid found itself alternately laughing and gulping as it found all sorts of religions and ideals on display. And one of the shrines... well, let's just say that no one would expect THAT! But the grand conclusion of the religious quarter must be the Cathedral itself, which our reviewdroid is in such shock over that it simply can't talk about it.

(But if it did, it'd talk about strip poker, gift shops, the disturbing trip up the whisper dome... the horrors, the horrors! You simply must visit at once.)

After that, it's time for a romp through the gardens of Sin, with their heady perfume and the surprise in the center that awaits those with enough fortitude... to say nothing of the Country Club further up the road. (Let's just hope the original owners don't want Buckingham Palace back!) Our reviewdroid particularly enjoyed its beach voyage (a beach the reviewdroid likes? CALL THE MEDIA!) (wait a second, we ARE the media) and highly recommends taking a dip.

And then there's the police station (let your sick little minds run rampant), the museum, the producer's... oh, and did we mention there's a puzzle too? All in all, Sin is an excellent planet, with a brilliant mix of satire, out and out comedy, lampoons of pop culture, and of course even a hint of... *ahem* Well, you know.

There's no doubt in our mind that Detros has earned the Coveted Walrus of Merit Award for his very fine efforts. Wonderful job!

(And to think, we made it all this way without singing "It's a Sin" by the Pet Shop Boys. Who'd've thought it?)
